This growing Quick-service chain(29 locations and growing) is one of the BEST KNOWN BRANDS in the industry! They are currently seeking experienced General Manager and Assistant Manager candidates for the Nashville, Lebanon & Hartsville area. Managers are responsible for total operations of the restaurant including all aspects of financial performance, staff management, and adherence to operating standards in order to ensure overall restaurant success.
Takes a leadership role in following the restaurant plan to achieve established operating standards, sales and profits with minimal supervision. This is achieved primarily by providing help in the areas of: hiring; training managers and crew; day-to-day operations, related administration, marketing and maintenance of the restaurant in a manner that customer service is maximized. Helps to make certain that the restaurant is consistently operated in accordance with SONIC’s franchise agreement and the drive-in’s operations systems and policies and procedures. Assumes full responsibility for the drive-in in manager’s or partner’s absence and generally works during periods of time the partner or manager is not present.
One to two years of assistant management in a restaurant or retail environment; or equivalent SONIC experience and STAR certification in all stations; or up to six months of general management experience in a restaurant or retail environment. A minimum of one
General knowledge of restaurant or retail day-to-day operations. A familiarity with the functional support areas of human resources, training, marketing, finance, payroll and point-of-sale systems.
Carries out the restaurant plan in order to meet established operating standards, sales and profits. This is accomplished primarily through: hiring, training, and motivating restaurant employees; providing local store marketing; controlling costs; managing daily restaurant operations; and giving every customer outstanding service. Makes certain that the restaurant is consistently operated in agreement with the SONIC franchise license agreement, the SONIC Operations Manual, the drive-in’s standard operations systems and the drive-in policies and procedures.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant or retail operations. General knowledge of functional support areas, including Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Finance, Payroll and Point of Sale Systems.
SALARY RANGE & BENEFITS
- Managers earn between $32K - $45K annually: $32K base salary, plus bonus of 10-20% of profits total compensation with bonus up to 60K -80K depending on over all restaurant performance.
